Mary Claxton
Little Kids Rock
Mary Claxton is a musician and educator based in Greeley, Colorado. She is the Colorado Director of Programs for a music education nonprofit called Little Kids Rock, where it is her pleasure to support teachers and students across the state. In her gigging life, she plays drums for soul band, The Burroughs, who have played for notable festivals like The Boulder International Film Festival, New West Fest and the Denver Day of Rock. They have also opened for acts such as The Steve Miller Band, ZAPP and The Dirty Dozen Brass Band. Recently, Claxton has also been fronting her own project, an indie rock trio called Trash Cat, where she plays electric ukulele and sings. They are going into the studio December of 2019.
