Ginger Bartkoski Meagher (she/her/hers) is Director of TDF Education Programs. Ginger is in charge of TDF’s annual service to 11,000 middle and high school students, and oversees the five core programs: Intro to Theatre, Young Playwrights, Intro to Dance, The Wendy Wasserstein Project, and the professional development series for teachers. Ginger works with an amazing team of over 25 teaching artists and arts liaisons. Prior to TDF, Ginger taught English, creative writing, theatre, and world literature at Teachers Preparatory High School, and English and social studies at JHS 275 Thelma J. Hamilton, both in Brooklyn’s Brownsville neighborhood. She received her B.A. in Theatre and Film from the University of Kansas and her M.A. in Secondary English Education from Brooklyn College. Ginger was part of the New York City Teaching Fellowship and an AmeriCorps volunteer. She sits on the University of Kansas Professional Advisory Board and The South Mountain YMCA Board of Managers. Ginger is an activist and supporter of Black Lives Matter and We See You White American Theatre.
